Talk To Me

Access the free Talk to Me curriculum at: https://talktomecurriculum.wordpress.com/.

The site offers detailed lesson plans that integrate all three parts of the Talk to Me curriculum:

  • Talk to Me, a book based on a STEM-related mystery
  • Three imaginative, interactive learning adventures
  • Idea-centered enrichment activities with hands-on elements

The Talk to Me curriculum explores the engineering design cycle, engineering ethics, and artificial intelligence.

About the Book

Fourteen-year-old Sadina is fighting the clock to keep her other from being arrested for a crime she didn’t commit. Sadina thinks her sister, Maddie, has information that could prove their mother is innocent. There’s one big problem: Maddie can’t talk. She has selective mutism, an anxiety disorder that makes it impossible for her to talk to anyone—except Bella, her robotic cat. Sadina searches desperately for a way to help her sister communicate. She teams up with her friends to transform Bella into Chattercat, a talking robot that just might get some answers from Maddie.
